Coles End Farm
Coles End Farm was a fantastic project to be involved with. Originally 2 acres of cow field and general blank canvas, the clients wanted a beautiful English country garden with productive veg plot and an ornamental herb garden. Not only this but the garden was due to become part of a new business which teaches cookery and horticulture. For these reasons the journey around the landscape will be as important as what is actally in the garden.
featuring traditional clipped box beds, comprehensive veg and herbs garden, an apple archway and large wildflower drifts, the garden should evolve into a fine example of English countryside. Also with a few more contemporary features such as a large new wave perennial drift and timber pergola, there is no doubting that this is a 21st century garden.
Having said that, this is a landscape that will take years to evolve and many hours of hard work and persistence to get it looking perfect.
