The Bakehouse Mews - Rothwell
Big things are happening in Rothwell. Over the next few years there are plans to develop the town to include 2 new housing developments plus a refurbished hotel and 2 new eco homes being built by Velux. All in all, Rothwell is a town on the rise and at the forefront of all this development is good landscape design.
The Bakehouse Mews project epitamises Urban Design. A new retail development including a restaurant, wine bar and beauty salon, which has the potential to draw customers and become a thriving hub of activity. This narrow and tricky space as seen in the images below needs good design to really squeeze every last drop of potential from it.
Including existing tables and chairs the design features rendered planters with built in seating and modern planting. Although the poject is still in the construction phase, it will deffinately become a place to eat and drink in the heart of Rothwell.
